Color Number Words
Mixed media on paper | 5.75 x 5.75 | Lately I have been feeling large amounts of anxiety. I felt the need to do something abstract. So I gave myself some rules and coordinated a color with a specific sized word and painted over the word (this is a page from an old cookbook) with the assigned color. Light pink = 2 letter words, dark pink= 3 letter words, light brown = 4 letter words and so on and so on. It gave me a sense of order and control and calmed me down for a bit. Ahhhhh. Relaxed. For a second.
